PLEASE NOTE   If your flagpole is not made in the USA, the thread count is probably 11 threads per inch. The Eagle has the normal American count of 13 threads per inch. The pulley system on non USA flagpoles will need to be altered. Here is the easy fix.

  • 1. Drill out the existing pulley threads with a 1/2" or 9/16" drill just enough to slide the eagle shaft through.
  • 2. Take the eagle to your local hardware or Lowes/Home depot
  • 3. Purchase 1 nut that fit the eagle, 13 threads per inch by 1/2" National course thread
  • 4. Place one nut on the eagle shaft and thread it up to the top of the threads
  • 5. Place the eagle through the pulley system and screw the 2nd nut on and tighten it. This will clamp the Eagle to the pulley. Tight it snugly to prevent the eagle from spinning.
