Model # 40X:
The flagpole's mounting height is 40 feet, with 4 feet below grade, making the overall length 44 feet with the extension.
- The 7-inch extension is added to the 39C shaft to make it a "40X," resulting in the pole being 39 feet above grade and 43 feet overall. The extension is pre-installed by the manufacturer and is not visible above the ground.
- The butt diameter of the pole is 7 inches, the top diameter is 3 inches, and the pole weighs approximately 115 lbs, with a total shipping weight of 219 lbs.
- The flagpole is manufactured using fiberglass woven roving and polyester resin, with load calculations based on AASHTO and NAAMM standards. It is designed with a two to one (2:1) safety factor for 125 mph winds, unflagged, with a 1.3 gust factor.
- The flagpole features an Entasis taper, is void of vertical mold seams, and is sanded smooth and coated with a high gloss Aliphatic Polyurea coating system to provide extended UV protection and weatherability.
